6 airports to be built in Oman

The Omani authorities plan to build six new airports at once in the next five years. It is expected that they will be put into operation by 2028-2029.

After that, the number of airports in the country will increase to thirteen.

One of the planned facilities is Musandam Airport, which they want to launch in the second half of 2028. It will be equipped with the latest technology and will be able to receive Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft.
