A new air carrier will start operating in Georgia — Air Iveria

Georgia will launch a new national airline Air Iveria from 2024. At the initial stage, there will be 3-4 aircraft in its fleet, and in the future it will increase at least three times: Air Iveria and the aircraft manufacturer Airbus have signed an agreement on exclusive cooperation.

A joint sustainable development plan and an operational model of the new Georgian airline will also be prepared, said the founders of the new carrier, Irakli Giorgobiani and Tengiz Tkeshelashvili.

"With the high quality of services, the prices for the flight will be adequate. In addition, we will have a strong loyalty program," the airline promises.

According to Air Iveria executives, by 2030 the carrier will bring about a billion dollars annually to the budget of Georgia.
