A new wave of abnormal heat is expected in Turkey

A new heat wave is expected in Turkey. In some regions of the country, the air temperature will rise by 10 degrees above the seasonal norm.

According to experts of the Main Meteorological Department, the heat waves observed in the east and south-east of Turkey will come to other regions.

The highest air temperature is expected in the provinces of Diyarbakir (+41°C), Gaziantep (+40°C) and Edirne (+38°C).

It will be cooler in the northeastern regions of Turkey and in the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. There will be showers with thunderstorms on the Black Sea coast.
