A tourist from Germany flew to Moscow by mistake instead of Munich

A 79-year-old pensioner from Germany mistakenly got on the wrong plane, returning from a vacation in Antalya. Instead of Munich, she flew to Moscow.

It is clarified that the tourist who had been vacationing in Turkey for 10 days was supposed to fly home at the end of May. She was waiting for departure at the designated boarding gate, but the gate number was suddenly changed and she did not pay attention to it.

After standing in line for boarding, the woman boarded a plane to Moscow. At the same time, the employees of Turkish Airlines, which operated the flight, did not point out the mistake to her and let her on board.

In Moscow, a woman was issued a return ticket to Istanbul, where she had to spend the night right in the waiting room. She got to Munich only the next day. Her journey home took a total of 30 hours.

Now the tourist is demanding compensation from Turkish Airlines, whose employees did not let her on their flight.
