Air China has resumed flights to Havana
The Chinese airline Air China has resumed flights on the Beijing — Havana route, which were interrupted during the pandemic.
On Friday, May 17, the first flight with 116 passengers on board arrived at the airport of the capital of Cuba. At the international airport named after Jose Marti was greeted by Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, Minister of Tourism and Transport of the Republic Juan Carlos Garcia Granda and Eduardo Rodriguez.
The flight with a technical landing in Madrid (duration about two hours) at the first stage will be operated twice a week — on Tuesdays and Fridays. It is planned to increase the frequency of flights in the future. The total travel time will be 22-24 hours.
