An abnormal heat wave has set in India
In the north of India, the record high temperature for this season has been recorded: in some areas of Delhi, it exceeded +50 °C.
The Delhi Meteorological Service recorded in the city a record high temperature for India of +52.3 °C, which is more than two degrees higher than yesterday, May 28.
On the eve of the Indian capital, high temperature readings were recorded at three weather stations. A temperature of 45.8 °C was recorded at the city weather station in Safdarjang, and in the districts of Mungeshpur and Narela and Najafgarh, the thermometer reached 49.9 °C. That's nine degrees above the normal temperature for this time of year.
At the same time, some areas of the city are experiencing difficulties with water supply.
