An unmanned taxi has started working in Beijing
Residents and visitors of Beijing can now use the services of unmanned taxis.
In the capital of China, 10 such cars have been put into operation, they will serve an area of 60 square kilometers.
The Chinese technology giant Baidu received a license in March of this year and started implementing a project in the field of autonomous vehicles, involving the operation of unmanned taxis.
In the future, it is planned to expand the number of cities where unmanned taxis will operate — to launch up to 65 cars by 2025 and up to 100 by 2030. It is also expected that by 2030, the market volume of such services will reach $ 188.6 billion and account for 60% of the total volume of taxi transportation in the country.
