At the festival in Spain, the stage collapsed: 40 injured
Last weekend at the Medusa Festival in the municipality of Cullera in the Spanish autonomous community of Valencia, a stage collapsed due to strong winds.
As a result, one person was killed and 40 were injured of varying severity. Earlier it was reported about 17 wounded. This was stated by the local Emergency 112 rescue service on its Twitter page.
At the time of the incident, about 50,000 people gathered at the event. A two-day mourning period was declared in Valencia.
Medusa is one of the most important festivals in Valencia, it is held every year and attracts about 300,000 visitors.
