Bali will introduce a tourist tax

The tourist tax in Bali will be introduced on February 14. The fee will amount to 150,000 Indonesian rupees (9.59 US dollars). There are two ways to pay the tax.

So, before arriving on the island on the lovebali.baliprov.go.id you will be able to enter your personal data and pay the fee. Payment is possible only with Visa and Mastercard cards.

It will also be possible to pay the tax on arrival on the island in cash or by card — at the counters at Denpasar Airport or at the port of Benoa. After payment, tourists will receive a QR code for further presentation at the check points.

You will have to pay only for the first entry to Bali. If vacationers go on excursions to other provinces of Indonesia and return to the island, they will not be charged tax again. Those who refuse to pay are planned to be deported.
