China has introduced a visa-free regime for tourists from six countries

China has introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of six countries: Spain, Italy, Netherlands, France, Germany and Malaysia. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mao Ning.

The visa—free regime is temporary - it will operate as an experiment from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024. Citizens of the above countries will be able to stay in China without a visa for up to 15 days.

"China has decided to expand the scope of the unilateral visa—free regime in order to facilitate the movement of people between China and the outside world for the benefit of intensive development and maintaining a high level of openness," the representative of the country's Foreign Ministry explained.
