Croatia plans to enter the Schengen area from the new year
Croatia plans to enter the Schengen area from January 1, 2023. This was stated by the Prime Minister of this country, Andrei Plenkovich.
According to him, Croatia has fulfilled all the criteria and is "ready to provide additional explanations on this matter to everyone who wants it so that we can enter on January 1."
The Prime Minister said that he expects a positive decision of the European Parliament on this issue in the coming weeks.
In addition, Plenkovic expressed support for two other countries on the way to joining the Schengen — Bulgaria and Romania.
