Five people were injured during a bull run in Spain
At least five people were injured yesterday, July 13, while participating in a bull run (encierro) as part of the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona (Navarre, Spain).
The race traditionally started at 08:00 local time and lasted less than three minutes. One of the victims was hit by a bull with horns.
In total, several dozen people were injured during the daily bull runs this year.
The festival in honor of the patron saint of Navarre, Saint Fermin, started in Pamplona on July 6, it will last until July 15. Its main events are considered to be bull runs, during which hundreds of participants run along a narrow street of Pamplona, chased by bulls.
Both locals and tourists can participate in the race.
