Forest fire rages near Bodrum Airport

A strong forest fire is raging in Turkey, near the Milas International Airport in the resort town of Bodrum. This was announced by the General Forestry Department of Turkey.

The fire occurred for an unknown reason in the forest between two villages located near the airport in Mugla province. The air temperature in this area now exceeds +43 ° C, and forest fires occur in the province several times a day.

At least 300 firefighters, seven helicopters, and three planes are involved in fighting the fire.

The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey Ibrahim Yumakli went to the place.
