Georgia introduces visa-free regime for Chinese citizens

Starting today, September 11, Georgia introduces a visa-free regime for Chinese citizens. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

"We have decided that a visa-free regime will be activated for Chinese citizens from today. Today I will issue a corresponding order, and, of course, it will be important and will encourage the arrival of even more tourists to Georgia," the head of government said.

According to Garibashvili, guests from China are considered the most desirable tourists all over the world — in Europe, in the USA, everywhere. The Prime Minister also noted that there is a direct air connection between Georgia and China.
