Hainan Airlines launches round-the-world flights
Chinese airline Hainan Airlines launches round—the-world flights: from October 20, 2024, it will fly from Beijing to Boston on a non-standard route.
The Boeing 787-900 airliner will fly to the United States on the usual transpolar route, and return back across the Atlantic Ocean with a landing in Brussels.
Thus, the Beijing — Boston — Brussels — Beijing round-the-world air route will cost passengers from $ 10,000.
This is not the only example of circumnavigation on regular flights: Singapore Airlines planes fly from Singapore to New York across the Pacific Ocean, and return back across the Atlantic and Europe, but the cost of such flights is significantly higher.
