Hotel rooms have risen sharply in Poland
in Poland, the prices of hotel accommodation have risen sharply due to the rising cost of electricity and gas. Such data was presented by the Economic Chamber of the Polish Hotel Industry.
According to experts, 86% of hotels in Poland have raised prices, as electricity bills have increased by 200% compared to September 2021. Gas prices have risen by an average of 312%, and in some residential properties — even by 1000%.
The situation is also negatively affected by falling demand. In September, less than half of the hotels were booked by 70%, and by 50% tourists booked only a fifth of the hotels in October, for November — only about 3%.
