Hurricane Dana hit Spain

Hurricane Dana came to Spain last Sunday and caused significant damage to the central and western parts of the country. Coastal settlements — from Alicante to Cadiz - suffered from heavy rains.

As a result, two people were killed, one was missing. Floods are observed in many cities, houses, cars and shops are flooded.

So, in Madrid, the subway was flooded. Residents of the Spanish capital and the Mancha Alta de Toledo area were urged not to leave their homes.

According to some reports, the damage from bad weather exceeded 10 billion euros.
