More than 52,000 residents of Beijing (China) were evacuated due to heavy rains caused by Typhoon Doksuri.

Hundreds of flights were canceled at Beijing airports. Traffic has been suspended on 350 highways. City attractions are closed.

In addition to Beijing, heavy rains continue in the city of Tianjin, as well as in the provinces of Hebei and Shanxi. It is expected that today, August 1, the rains will intensify in the southern and western provinces of China.

In China, a record amount of precipitation fell on Monday night this year. The rains were brought by Typhoon Doksuri.
