In Indonesia, airlines changed routes due to a volcano
Indonesia's highest volcano Kerinci, located in Sumatra, showed activity yesterday, so airlines had to change flight routes over the island.
The volcano threw a column of ash into the sky at 6:20 a.m. local time, as a result of which the Kerinci-Seblat National Park temporarily suspended work. Locals and tourists are encouraged to wear protective masks.
At the moment, the volcano emits ash "with a constant frequency." The eruption was assigned the second level of danger.
