In Mexico, a balloon caught fire, two dead

In Mexico, two people died when a balloon caught fire.

It is clarified that the basket of the balloon caught fire when the balloon flew over the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan in the Mexican state of Mexico. Two passengers of the balloon were killed, and a 13-year-old girl was injured as a result of the fall. The pilot was taken from the scene by relatives, his whereabouts and state of health are unknown.

Eyewitnesses say that the victims of the emergency were a married couple. A man and a woman, trying to escape from the fire, jumped out of the basket from a great height. Their daughter is in the hospital. At first, the passengers lowered a rope from the basket, assuming to descend with its help, but it caught fire.

The cause of the fire is called a fuel leak.
