In Pakistan, the number of flood victims exceeded 1,000 people

The number of victims of floods in Pakistan reached 1033 people, 1527 residents were injured. 119 people were killed and 71 injured in the past day alone.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority, floods caused by monsoon rains have been occurring in Pakistan since June 14. To date, heavy rains and river floods have destroyed almost 3,500 km of roads, brought down 149 bridges, damaged or completely destroyed 949,800 houses, and killed almost 720,000 cattle.

In total, more than 33 million people were affected by the floods.

Earlier this week, the Pakistani authorities declared a state of emergency in the country and called on the international community to provide all possible assistance.
