In Rome, eco-activists ruined Van Gogh's painting "The Sower"

Eco-activists advocating the cessation of the development of new oil and gas fields have again attacked the work of art. This time, Vincent Van Gogh's painting "The Sower", which is on display at the Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome (Italy), suffered from their hands.

Four people took part in the attack. They poured vegetable soup over the painting.

Recall that the attacks of eco-activists on works of art have become more frequent this fall. So, recently, supporters of the Just Stop Oil movement attacked the painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Jan Vermeer at the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague (Netherlands). In the National Gallery in London, two activists of the same movement poured tomato soup on Van Gogh's canvas "Sunflowers", in Potsdam, the Last Generation group stained Claude Monet's painting "Haystack" with mashed potatoes, which is estimated at more than 110 million dollars. Also, the figure of the British King Charles III in the Madame Tussauds Museum in London suffered at the hands of members of this organization — two chocolate cakes were launched into it.
