In Rome, the place of Caesar's murder was opened for tourists
On the Torre Argentina Square in Rome (Italy), the alleged murder site of Julius Caesar was opened for tourists.
There are four temples of the III century BC and the remains of the Pompeii Theater. Near the latter, as the legend says, in 44 BC, the conspirators killed Caesar, and he exclaimed: "And you, Brutus?", seeing his friend among the murderers.
Previously, it was possible to look at these objects only from afar — the ruins are located below the level of the modern street. Now a pedestrian path has been taken to them.
The temple complex and the Pompeii Theater were discovered in 1927 during construction work.
