More than 1,000 people were evacuated in the southern Turkish province of Mersin on the Mediterranean coast due to a severe natural fire.
The fire started on Wednesday on the Mersin — Antalya highway in the Gulnar district of Mersin. They have been fighting with him for the second day. 29 helicopters, 11 planes and 850 firefighters are involved.
