India plans to return artifacts taken out by the British Empire

India is launching a campaign to recover artifacts taken out by the British Empire during the colonial period.

According to the publication, India is going to launch a long-term diplomatic campaign to return thousands of precious artifacts.

In particular, India intends to return one of the world's most famous diamonds, the 105—carat Kohinoor, which is currently in the crown of the British monarchs. This could be the largest demand for the return of artifacts that the UK has ever faced.

The process of returning valuables will begin this year.
