Lufthansa has launched a new airline
The Lufthansa Group has launched a new airline, Discover Airlines.
It is formed on the basis of the Discover division, which is part of the Eurowings low-cost carrier group. Thus, we can talk about the rebranding of Eurowings Discover, because the product has remained similar — only the name and design, including the aircraft livery, have been updated.
The first Airbus A320 in a new livery has already arrived in Frankfurt. By December, there will be a new uniform for flight attendants. It is also planned to improve meals, add services in the premium economy class, and give passengers headphones for free on long-haul flights on the A330.
It is clarified that Discover Airlines is not a low—cost airline, but an airline for transportation to popular tourist destinations. Now the carrier has 22 aircraft, five more A320s and one A330 are planned.
