Metro in Tajikistan will be built in 2025

Tajik authorities have announced that they plan to begin construction of the country's first metro in 2025.

"The preparation of the feasibility study will be completed in April—May 2025, and the exact design of the metro construction will begin in June—July," the Ministry of Transport of the republic said in a statement.

It is planned that the first light metro line of Dushanbe will be built from the southern outskirts of the city to the center, to the State Circus, its length will be 10.5 km.
