Notre Dame Cathedral will open on December 8
The restored Notre Dame Cathedral will open to visitors on December 8, 2024.
On April 15, 2019, a devastating fire broke out in the cathedral, the foundation stone of which was laid in 1163. The French authorities stated that the restoration of the temple would take five years. The full completion of restoration work in the cathedral is scheduled for 2029-2030.
