On the Cote d'Azur in France, it was forbidden to use the shower on the beaches because of the drought.
This decision was made by the prefecture of the Department of Var in the French region of Provence — Alpes — Côte d'Azur in order to save water due to drought. All showers on the beaches of the department will be closed.
Also, watering plants will be prohibited from 9:00 to 19:00 if the water is taken from the Canal de Provence. Violators of the ban face a fine of 7,500 euros for businesses and 1,500 euros for private households.
This summer, France has already experienced three waves of abnormal heat, the temperature rose above + 40C. Now the fourth wave is expected in the country, the peak of which will come August 12.
