A rainbow cloud of incredible beauty appeared in Southern China. It was captured on video by residents of Haikou city on Hainan Island.

This unique natural phenomenon is called "pileus", it is also known as a cloud-cap. This is a small horizontal lenticular cloud that appears above a cumulus or cumulonimbus cloud.

For the appearance of an unusual rainbow color in the cloud, there must be cooled crystallized homogeneous water droplets that, when refracted, scatter sunlight.

The cloud disappears quickly, so to see it and have time to capture it is the rarest luck.
