Russia will open another checkpoint for tour buses on the border with Abkhazia

Russia will open an additional checkpoint for tour buses on the border with Abkhazia. This was announced by the representative of the Abkhaz parliament Alkhas Bartsyts.

According to him, the new checkpoint will open within two weeks, the staff of inspectors is already ready. The solution will significantly facilitate the capacity of the border of Abkhazia.

Currently, it takes from two to two and a half hours to check the documents of tourists from one tour bus.

Recall that last year the tourist flow to Abkhazia set a record for the last 30 years — more than 1.5 million tourists rested in the republic.
