Shanghai Airport offers for passengers free guided tours

From April 15, 2024, passengers on international flights with long-term transfers at Pudong Airport (Shanghai, China) can take advantage of free city tours.

The connection should be more than 8 hours, the tour is called Shanghai Express, it is organized by Trip.com Group. The program with an English-speaking guide includes transport and sightseeing services, tickets to attractions, electronic SIM cards and insurance will also be issued to guests. The duration of the tour is five to six hours.

Tourists who are eligible for 72/144-hour visa-free transit in China, as well as those who have a 24-hour temporary entry permit issued by the airport border inspection, will be able to walk around Shanghai for free between flights.
