Snow has fallen in the Turkish beach resort of Cesme

Hail and snow suddenly fell on April 5 in the Turkish resort of Cesme on the Aegean coast.

As Mayor Tunch Sawyer said, snow in April means that "the climate crisis is not just knocking on our doors, but is already present in our lives."

It is specified that hail and snow, accompanied by a gale-force wind, fell in three districts of Cesme. Rescuers had to come to the aid of drivers whose cars were stuck in the snow.

Municipal services urgently eliminated the consequences of the abnormal weather phenomenon.
