St. Petersburg and Moscow were included in the rating of the best urban brands in the world in 2023

According to the press service of the St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development, St. Petersburg and Moscow were included in the rating of the most attractive urban brands in the world Brand Finance City Index 2023.

These two cities became the only representatives of Russia in the ranking. St. Petersburg scored 62.9 points and took 61st place, and Moscow with 62.5 points placed on the 63rd line. There are 100 positions in the rating in total.

The Russian capitals were ahead of a number of such popular cities as Istanbul, Casablanca, Doha, Cairo, Rio de Janeiro, Jakarta, Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv in this list.

The compilers of the rating evaluated the applicants according to seven main parameters, including fame, attractiveness for tourists, comfort of living, conditions for remote work and study. In addition, additional categories were taken into account, such as the beauty of architecture, hospitality and friendliness of residents, etc.

London became the leader of the rating, the TOP 10 included New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, San Francisco, Dubai and Amsterdam.
