Thailand will extend the stay of foreign tourists

Thailand from October 2022 to March 2023 increases the possible period of stay of tourists on its territory by 15 days.

The decision is designed to contribute to the increase in income from the tourism industry affected after the coronavirus pandemic.

It is noted that the increase in the length of stay concerns tourists from 55 countries, including Russia. Now they can stay in the country for 45 days instead of 30.

In addition, the visa on arrival (VOA), which was used by citizens of 18 other countries, will be valid for 30 days instead of 15. In addition, citizens of China, India and Saudi Arabia can now receive it.
