The Crimean Bridge was fully opened for motor traffic on all lanes

After the repair, the Crimean Bridge was fully opened for automobile traffic on all lanes ahead of schedule by 39 days. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.

Today, on February 23, the start was given to traffic on the automobile part of the Crimean Bridge, which was completely restored after the destruction as a result of the terrorist attack. All tests of the carrying capacity of the crossing spans have been successfully passed.

As the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Saveliev recalled, the movement of cars on the bridge was restored within a few hours after the emergency and practically did not stop during the repair. During this time, more than 700,000 vehicles have passed over the bridge.
