The festival of the Russian Geographical Society will be held in Moscow
The festival of the Russian Geographical Society will open in Moscow's Zaryadye Park on August 18.
This event will be timed to the Geographer's Day, it will be held from August 18 to 28. The festival will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to travel to various parts of Russia without leaving the capital.
The festival program includes more than 80 lectures by scientists and travelers, creative meetings with photographers and cinematographers, master classes in folk crafts, contests and quizzes.
The entire territory of the Zaryadye Park, as well as the square at the intersection of Varvarka and Moskvoretskaya Streets, will become the venue of the festival.
Admission to the festival is free.
