The Hermitage was included in the list of the best attractions in the world according to the international tourism portal Stasher. This was stated in the Committee for the Development of Tourism of St. Petersburg.

In total, there are 99 objects in the rating, the Hermitage has become the only representative of Russia.

The authors relied on the reviews of tourists on the Internet, the distance from the nearest international airport, the availability of comfortable hotels nearby, security, popularity in social networks.

According to the combination of these factors, the Hermitage took 78th place.

The purpose of the study, according to the compilers of the rating, was to ensure that tourists visiting world attractions "do not feel disappointed that reality does not meet expectations."
