The hurricane broke the symbol of Buenos Aires - the iron flower Floralis
The hurricane that hit the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, damaged the symbol of the city — the sculpture of the "living" iron flower Floralis (Floralis GenĂ©rica).
It is clarified that due to the hurricane, one of the petals of the 18-ton sculpture made of stainless steel and aluminum fell off. It is not reported how serious the damage is and how quickly it can be repaired.
In addition, a strong wind shifted the parked Boeing 737-700 of AerolĂneas Argentinas Airlines at Buenos Aires airport.
