The largest Ferris wheel in Europe opened in Moscow

Yesterday, September 10, the Ferris wheel "The Sun of Moscow" opened in Moscow at VDNH — it became the largest in Europe and one of the highest in the world.

Earlier, the largest Ferris wheel in Europe was the "London Eye" (London Eye) with a height of 135 m in the capital of Great Britain.

The "Sun of Moscow" has a height of 140 m and 30 enclosed cabins, accommodating up to 15 guests each. The cabins have a video surveillance system and climate control, a communication button with the operator. Five cabins are equipped with a transparent floor.

In one revolution, which takes 18 minutes and 40 seconds, the Ferris wheel can carry up to 450 people.

It is expected that the new attraction will attract over 2.5 million visitors annually.
