The Mimosa Festival will take place in Montenegro

A traditional Mimosa Festival will soon begin in the city of Herceg Novi in Montenegro.

This year's annual Mimosa Festival will be held from February 15 to March 3. The event will host a variety of entertainment, cultural and sports events.

Residents and tourists can expect performances by famous Balkan performers, a carnival procession, masquerades for children and adults, a flower exhibition, a ceremony of burning a carnival effigy, quests and contests.

In addition to a variety of entertainment, visitors will be generously treated to fish and wine.
