The Pyramid of Cheops in Giza will be closed for restoration
The famous Pyramid of Cheops in Giza (Egypt) will be closed for restoration in June. This is reported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt.
According to the ministry, the work inside the monument will be carried out "as part of the regular maintenance program in the pyramids."
Instead of the pyramid of Cheops, the pyramid of Mikerin will open for tourists, it will be available for inspection from the inside during the entire restoration period.
