The strongest flood in 50 years occurred in China

The worst flood in half a century has occurred in southern China. More than 83,000 people were evacuated, 1.16 million households were left without electricity, more than 1,000 schools were closed, at least four people were killed and 10 were missing.

Since April 18, Guangdong Province has been suffering from hurricanes, heavy rains, and landslides. The river level has exceeded the critical mark. A number of villages in the mountains were blocked.

On April 16, the heaviest rains in 75 years hit Dubai (UAE), where the annual rainfall rate fell. Roads, shopping malls and the airport were flooded.
