The validity period of the Russian e-visa will be extended

The period of stay of foreigners in Russia on an electronic visa will be increased from 16 to 30 days, and the validity period of this visa will be increased from 60 to 120 days. The Russian Foreign Ministry has already prepared a corresponding bill.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since the introduction of the electronic visa system of the Russian Federation in August 2023 to July 31, 2024, 541,000 visas have been issued by citizens of all 55 countries to which they are available.
