The world's tallest Ferris wheel will be built in Seoul

The world's tallest Ferris wheel without spokes will appear in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The futuristic structure is promised to be built by 2028.

The project of the new wheel was developed by UNStudio studio, the technology was called Seul Twin Eye.

The wheel will consist of two huge intersecting rings with capsule cabins for passengers. From its highest point there will be an extensive view of the entire city.

The height of the Ferris wheel is 220 m, the diameter is 180 m. Each of the 64 capsules can accommodate up to 25 passengers. The cabins will move due to the crawler mechanism, but the whole wheel will not rotate.

The start of construction is scheduled for 2025, and completion is scheduled for 2028. Currently, the Dubai Eye (210 m) is considered the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
