Torrential rains caused flooding in Dubai

Heavy rains have fallen on the cities of the UAE. Heavy rains caused flooding and traffic disruptions in some areas of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Also, hail the size of a golf ball fell in the UAE. It hit Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and other regions of the country.

An orange weather hazard level has been declared in the UAE. Due to the bad weather, educational and government institutions have been switched to remote operation, city residents and tourists have been urged to stay away from the coast until weather conditions normalize.
