Tour operator FTI Touristik went bankrupt in Germany
In Germany, FTI Group, the third largest European tour operator after TUI and DER Touristik, has declared bankruptcy.
The operator FTI Touristik filed an application for financial insolvency with the Munich court and announced the suspension of work from June 4. He has worked in the travel market for more than 40 years.
Currently, more than 65,000 tour operator customers are on vacation abroad, while the total number of tours purchased by tourists for the summer is not specified. According to estimates by the German Travel Insurance Fund (DRSF), the number of tourists affected could be in the "hundreds of thousands".
