Turkey is waiting for winterers from Europe

The head of the Antalya Travel Industry Association (AKTOB), Erkan Yagji, recalled that the Mediterranean coast of Turkey is one of the best destinations for EU residents in terms of price and quality.

In turn, the presidential adviser on economic policy, Yigit Bulut, said that at least 1 million Europeans intend to spend this winter in Turkey because of the energy crisis in Europe. The official called the situation "divine justice."

According to him, hotels in Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya will be crowded, booking has already begun. In addition, Europeans buy and rent housing, and in this case, Mr. Bulut advised his citizens not to be cheap.

The winter migration of citizens of developed countries, according to Bulut, will serve as an additional incentive for the development of the real estate industry, tourism and retail trade in Turkey.
