Turkish Airlines flight flying to Antalya urgently landed in Baku

As reported in the press service of the International Airport Heydar Aliyev (Azerbaijan), an airliner of the Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines, flying from Bishkek to Antalya, landed unscheduled in Baku.

It is noted that the crew of Turkish Airlines flight THY4055 requested an emergency landing due to a technical problem.

It is clarified that the reason for the emergency landing of the Boeing 737 aircraft was the activation of the smoke sensor in the luggage compartment.

The landing was successful, the plane landed at 09:18, no one was injured.
