Wizz Air passengers staged a riot at Budapest Airport
At Budapest Airport (Hungary) last weekend, passengers fought with employees of the low-cost airline Wizz Air over oversized luggage.
The incident occurred while boarding a Wizz Air flight to Switzerland. Several people refused to pay for oversized bags and suitcases before flying to Basel. For this, they were banned from boarding, a fight broke out and several people broke into the plane. Employees of the low-cost airline called the police.
The guards arrived and expelled the rowdies from the cabin of the plane. The flight took off from Budapest late.
The headquarters of the National Police noted that as a result of the conflict, none of the parties filed a complaint, therefore, the police do not need to investigate, the incident is considered settled.
